If you've seen the new "Star Trek" movie, you've probably noticed that Tyler Perry, that's right, Madea herself, had a small role as the admiral in charge of Starfleet Academy.
Thinking about why director JJ Abrams thought it was a good idea to make a man famous for dressing up in drag and directing really schmaltzy-yet-crude comedy films a figure of authority in a dramatic science fiction film kind of makes our brains hurt, but given the fact that Abrams is apparently a Perry fan, we're assuming that the filmmaker and playwright is likely to appear in the sure-to-come sequels, maybe in larger roles.
With that in mind, here are some suggestions for future entries in the "Star Trek" franchise:
- Madea Goes to Talos IV
- Harry Mudd's Little Girls
- The Family that Phasers
- Why Did I Get Married (to a Ferengi)
- I Can Do Bajoran All By Myself
- Meet the Borg
- Madea's Family Reunites The Incarnations of Its Opposite Sides Created in a Transporter Accident
- Diary of a Mad Black Vulcan
