Who: Hank Scorpio, CEO of Globex Corporation
What: Nothing less than the murder of James Bond himself. (Okay, James Bont. And with a little help from Homer J. Simpson.)
When: November 1996
Where: "The Simpsons," season eight, episode two
Why it's a great moment: Dozens have tried. But only Hank Scorpio, with the help of a new, bald employee in blue pants, has managed to gun down James Bond (or a very close analogue).
Plus, this pair of sentences is among the best ever villain-has-hero-in-a-death-trap speeches in villain history:
And hey, after all that, he even managed to take over the Eastern Seaboard! And for that, Hank Scorpio, we salute you.

He also had his own theme song and avoided the common villain pitfall of not treating his minions well. He was one of the best villains and greatest bosses ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QEsjd1WZuY

I swear, I used to work for Hank Scorpio back during the late 90s…

Like that did any lasting damage. MI-6 turns out putz like him and just give them the same name and number. Give them a few months, and "James Bont" will be playing poker in Mr. Burns' casino. Speaking of Burns, remember when he blocked out the sun? That was sweet.

I wished I worked for Hank Scorpio. All my former bosses were huge dicks. And ineffectual ones at that, who cried and begged for mercy... Schmucks.

Yay!
Scorpio also does an awesome magic trick where he makes people's coats disappear.

I like that a villain can be a villain in a regular sports coat and jeans. Or I guess they could just dress like a college professor.
Hmmmm. Don't think about that one too much.
