March 2010 Movie Preview, Part 2

by The Villain High Council

March 19

The Bounty Hunter

What it's about: In this very special episode of "Friends," special guest star Gerard Butler pops up as one of Rachel's (Jennifer Aniston) old flames! And then he tries to take her to a jail that's apparently about 600 miles away! Banter abounds! Understandably, Ross is really cheesed off!

What to expect: I'm just taking a wild guess here, but I'm going to say they are both murdered.

Repo Men

What it's about: Two dudes who reposess artificial organs that people can't afford (Jude Law and Forest Whitaker) get into a terrible tussle with irony.

What to expect: Two things. 1) That this movie to become best known for not being a sequel to the awesome Emilio Estevez movie from the '80s and 2) for the most believable thing about it to be that Jude Law and Forest Whitaker grew up together.

How to Train Your Dragon

What it's about:One of many Viking kids who talk and act like American brats (Jay Baruchel) meets up with a dragon that looks like a kitty. They become friends. You know the old story.

What to expect: I bet somebody's gonna learn a lesson. In 3D!

Greenberg

What it's about: A guy who has decided to live his life as one big Woody Allen impression (Ben Stiller) meets a manic pixie dreamgirl (Greta Gerwig) and they fall in disaffected, quirky love.

What to expect: For two weird people to love each other and get by really easily with no apparent means of paying the rent. What real-world characters!

Hot Tub Time Machine

What it's about: Four friends of wildly varying ages (John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke) get drunk and pass out in a hot tub, only to wake up to find themselves in a National Lampoon movie.

What to expect: Imagine "The Hangover" if it was a secondhand rip-off of "The Hangover."

Wait is Repo Men a pussified version of Repo! The Genetic Opera? 'cause that's the best opera I've ever seen.

I liked "The Hangover" the first time I saw it... When it was called "Dude, Where's my Car?"

Yeah, thats basically what Repo is.
A watered down version of something great.
Damn you Hollywood.
