Over the weekend, the Huffington Post posted this little gem of real world advice by a Manhattan CEO to inform people of a great way to save money in their daily routine.
The trick, you see, is to use stuff you bought at the grocery store.
(Side note: The Huffington Post has apparently now taken the post down, presumably because it was saving readers too much money and the sponsors were getting upset.)
But now that writer Alexa von Tobel has released readers from the shackles of financial burden, what advice can she now provide to the uninformed non-CEOs of the world?
We just happen to have some column ideas for her:
- Don't know how to get somewhere? Do you own a car? Maybe consider using that
- Can't see anything in your house? It's got lights!
- If there's something over there on the table that you need to get, arms could be a huge help
- Are you walking outside only to find rocks and glass and stuff in your feet? Shoes!
- If you're cold, go inside the apartment you rent where it's not cold
- The only way to avoid constantly being bitten by snakes is to no go inside that snake pit
- Dying? Maybe breathe every once in a while, see where that gets you

They keep assuming people can't get by because they spend their money unwisely. People can't get by because costs have steadily increased while pay has not. (Or at least have not increased in proportion to inflation.) This is why I was forced to join the military, take part in Experimental Procedures, go insane, and attempt World Domination. If they would just raise the Minimum Wage, I would have less competition. Seriously, my origin story happened to like 5 other guys in the same week I got my powers.

Colonel, the reason that prices keep going up is because of minimum wage increases. Every time we have to pay our minions more, we raise prices so that it isn't cutting into our profit margin. Then, of course, we give ourselves another raise for a job well done.
If you really want to dominate the world, private sector is the only way to go. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to buy a couple more Senators.
